Rural Skills Australia's new Rural Career Guide. It is a combined resource for students and job seekers, new entrants to the industry, parents and educators, counsellors and employers. It features career descriptions, interactive displays, education and training options to highlight career pathways in rural and related industries.

Agricareer is a DPI (Tasmania) website featuring six case studies on YouTube that show the diversity of career pathways in agribusiness and profile the food and agriculture sectors of the State. It explores how six young Tasmanians with diverse skills and backgrounds are creating rewarding careers within Tasmanian agribusiness.

The Agrifood Careers website covers food, fibre, animal production and food processing. It includes sections for youth, parents, advisers and teachers.

ONtrack - Real Skills, Real Future is a Rural Skills Australia resource that uses animations and videos to explore a range of careers on and off the farm (requires flash).

Learn it, Live it, Love it explores careers in agrifood, including how to get started, both at school and post school. It includes case studies of people working in various agrifood careers, and links to training and further information.

Ausagventures. The Careers in Australian Agriculture website created in 2012 has been relaunched under the new name of Ausagventures. It provides secondary and tertiary students interested in Australian agriculture with information on studying, training and careers in agriculture. The site also hosts a number of blogs about experiences in agriculture.

Science Taking You Places.  This is an E Magazine about educational pathways and careers in Australia’s Primary Industries. It includes sections about scholarships and real-life stories about young farming champions, guardians, researchers and practitioners.

Free guide to scholarships. The Country Education Foundation has released a new guide to hundreds of scholarships for rural, regional and indigenous students who require financial support while attending university.

Careers in the Queensland beef industry. The Queensland government has recently released the Quality Workforce Handbook for the beef industry in order to make the industry better equipped to recruit, develop and retain its future workforce. The new Quality Workforce Handbook contains a range of tools to assist beef sector employers and potential employees, including position descriptions, salary-package calculators and career pathway models. These tools will benefit the industry by enabling a consistent approach to workforce management and development as well as highlighting the long-term career opportunities for  potential employees.
