This website brings together available biological, catch and effort information to determine the status of Australia’s key wild catch fish stocks and provides a resource to inform the general public, policy makers and industry on the sustainability of stocks. It includes sections on molluscs; crustaceans; sharks and finfish. Each section includes text and photographs of the species; their stock status; location; biology; fisheries statistics and features; and sustainable use and management. It also includes a section on fishing methods.
